6 First Use and Opera�on
If necessary, clean external of the appliance with a so�, slightly damp cloth with or without a mild cleaning solu�on.
Polish dry with a so�, dry cloth. Do not use the appliance again un�l it has dried completely of if you suspect
internal parts might have come in contact with liquids.
Clean all accessories in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry all parts properly a�er cleaning.

Do not use abrasive or solvent cleaning products, as this could damage your appliance.

Always store this appliance in a safe, dry loca�on out of foot traffic to avoid a tripping hazard and
away from the reach of children.

Do not clean interior of the appliance with metal scouring pads, pieces can break off the pad and
touch the electrical parts, crea�ng a risk of electrical shock.
7 Cleaning, maintenance and storage
Always wait for the appliance to cool down completely and unplug it from the mains power
supply before cleaning or user maintenance. Do not allow the hea�ng elements or other electrical
components to come into contact with water or cleaning solu�ons. Disconnect the mains power
plug if you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period of �me.

Temperature control
Using the temperature control dial
(A)
you can set the required temperature for bo�om, top or both
oven func�ons. This appliance temperature can be set between 100°C and 230°C.
Toas�ng, baking and grilling in the oven
Always use the tongues provided with the appliance to insert or remove the tray/rack from the oven to
reduce the risk of injury or burns.
1. Put the crumb tray and wire rack into the appliance.
2. Set the temperature using the ‘TEMPERATURE’ dial
(A)
to desired heat level.
3. Turn the ‘TIMER’ (E) to set the desired cooking �me. This appliance works only with the �mer set up.
4. Turn top, bo�om or both hea�ng elements on using switches
(D)
and
(E).
5. The above switches illuminate when the oven is switched on.
6. Allow the appliance to heat up for approx. 10 minutes.
7. When the oven has reached the desired temperature, place your foodstuffs on the rack or the baking
tray and slide it on one of the rails. Ensure there is enough space between the hea�ng elements and
walls of this appliance. Posi�oning too close to any of those may decrease or increase the amount of
�me needed to cook the meal or result in the food burning.
8. Once the set �me has elapsed, a bell sounds and the appliance’s hea�ng elements switch off. You can
turn the oven back on by rese�ng the �mer or if the food is sufficiently cooked, turn the switches
(D)
and
(E)
off.
