Do not use the appliance for extended
periods of �me.
This appliance is designed to be
freestanding. It should be used on a firm,
heat resistant surface. Examples of heat
resistant surfaces are stainless steel or
granite.
Do not posi�on the appliance directly below
a power socket. The appliance should be
posi�oned so that the plug is always
accessible. When posi�oned near the
socket, the heat generated by the appliance
could damage the electrical installa�on.
Do not use this appliance with an extension
cord as this may overheat and cause a risk of
fire.
Do not move, shake or touch the appliance
when in use.
Never insert fingers and any objects through
the protec�ve guards into the appliance.
To avoid overhea�ng and reduce the risk of
fire - DO NOT COVER THE APPLIANCE!
This appliance must not be used in the
immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or
swimming pool. Do not touch the appliance,
cable or plug with wet hands and do not
immerse in liquid.
Ensure the air can freely enter and escape to
avoid heat build up inside the appliance.
Never leave the switched on appliance
una�ended.
When appliance is being used for the first
�me there might be a temporary presence
of small amount of smoke and odour
because the appliance and its hea�ng
elements are coated with a thin film of
grease. This is not harmful and will stop
a�er a short while.
The prolonged presence of odour is almost
always an indica�on of damage. If you
no�ce any suspicious odours, unplug from
mains and have the appliance inspected.
This appliance may only be used when
upright. Ensure the appliance is assembled
correctly with the handle on top and
power cable on the bo�om.
Never insert fingers or other objects
through the protec�ve guards into the
appliance.
Always unplug the appliance when not in
use and before cleaning.
Extreme cau�on must be used when
moving a drip pan containing hot oil or
other hot liquids. Use extreme cau�on
when removing the tray, racks or dispos

ing of hot grease or other liquids.
