When the hearing aid is turned on, it might whistle
until it is placed in the ear. The whistling is
caused by an acoustic feedback loop between the
hearing aid receiver and the microphone.
To turn off the hearing aid, you have to open the
battery compartment.
Note:
When opening the battery door, be careful
not
to force it beyond the upright position (see
drawing p. 6).
Please remember to always switch the aid off
when it is not in use for a lengthy period, or to
remove the battery.
