Changing the ear-set
The ear-set should be changed on a regular basis. The
life of an ear-set is individual and depends on a number
of factors, such as how much the hearing aid is used
and the type of earwax produced in the ear.
The ear-set is removed by
pulling it off the hearing
aid. A new hook and tube
can then be snapped into
place. It is
very important
to ensure that the tubing
is firmly secured.
