Fixings:
There are five screw types associated with this appliance:
(A)
(B)
(C)
(D)
(E)
A – general common fixing screw, found in a multitude of locations
B – Countersunk screw, found holding metal front panel (part 51) to the plastic front housing (part 67)
C – earthing screw, found in four locations (2 holding earth wires to side panel; 2 holding front panel to side panel)
D – top cover location screws, found in two locations on the top of the cabinet holding the top cover onto the dryer
E – motor mounting bracket fixing screws, found in four locations holding the motor brackets to the base of the dryer
Tools required:
PZ1 type screwdriver
Thin

14mm socket set and extension
Terminal screwdriver
In order to replace:

The PCB in the control panel, follow steps 1

The door assembly and door microswitch, follow steps 1

The capacitor, follow steps 1

The heater, follow steps 1, 9 and 10. Underneath the insulation, remove 9 screws (A) from the cover to release the heater
assembly.
