Sensing rods
The main display should show ‘1A0’. Open the dryer door and place
hands across the sensing rods. The main display should scroll down to
display a value in the range of ‘100’ to ‘105’. Remove hand and after a
second, the display should scroll back up to ‘1A0’. Shut the door.

Thermistor
Checks the Exhaust Thermistor. The main display should show
typically ‘219’. If the device is open or short circuit, an error message
(E3) is displayed and dryer does not operate.

Pump and
float position
With water in the sump and the float switch tripped, ‘hPU’ will be
displayed. If the sump is empty, ‘LPU’ will be displayed.
The pump will then operate within 20 seconds. If the sump is full, the
water should be removed and the float will drop, with the display
changing from ‘hPU’ to ‘LPU’. If the pump works correctly, the display
will show ‘LPS’. If this does not happen (i.e. faulty pump or jammed
float switch), an error code will be displayed on the main display.

Rotary Switch
Display should show ‘2:50’. Further rotation of the rotary switch will
then show the drying time of the relevant program selected.

Turn the rotary selector to the ‘OFF’ position to exit test mode.
