HOW TO USE YOUR STEAM IRON
HOT STEAM:
•
While ironing, it is possible to use the shot-steam function.
•
The shot-steam function generates a powerful burst of steam that can penetrate particularly
stubborn creases in fabrics.
•
To activate the shot-steam function, press the shot-steam button at intervals while ironing.
•
The shot-steam function can also be used to iron vertical items, e.g. curtains and hanging
garments.
DRY IRONING:
•
To iron without steam, move the steam dial to [0] and follow the instructions in ‘Steam
Ironing’.
SPRAY FUNCTION:
•
Ensure that there is sufficient water in the water reservoir.
•
Press the spray button slowly (for a dense spray) or quickly (for a vaporised spray).
Warning:
For delicate fabrics, moisten the fabric beforehand using the spray function or place
a damp cloth between the iron and the fabric. To avoid staining, do not use the spray function on
silk or synthetic fabrics.
