To use your stove with natural gas you should contact Whirlpool Service to change the nozzle and make the necessary
adjustments.
See the “Service” section in page 34.
The qualified technician should make the conversion on the nozzles of each cooktop burner; the technician must test the
connection and the gas pressure in the oven, the values should be like the following:
OPERATING LP GAS PRESSURE
2.75 kPa; 2750 Pa; 27.5 mbar; 28 cm WATER COLUMN
OPERATING NATURAL GAS PRESSURE
1.76 kPa; 1760 Pa; 17.6 mbar; 18 cm WATER COLUMN
NOTE:
The gas type used for this range is LP. If you wish to use Natural gas with this range you will need a conversion kit
according to the following table. This kit can be ordered from the Authorized Whirlpool Solution Center. If you don’t follow

Connect the Gas Supply Line
Depending of model a combination of fittings and pipes must be used to connect the stove to the existing gas supply line.
Your connection may be different than the diagram below, according to the supply line type, size, location and Range model.
1.
To
connect your stove use the material specified on the diagram below.
2. Once you have connected the stove to the gas supply line, TURN ON the shutoff valve
and test all connections by brushing on an approved noncorrosive leak-detection
solution. Bubbles will show a leak. Correct any leak found.
3. Check the cooper piping for kinks or other damage so the gas flows freely throw the
pipe.
DON’T USE A LIGHTER TO LOOK FOR GAS LEAKS.
DON’T USE PLASTIC HOSES FOR THE CONNECTION TO THE SUPPLY LINE, EVEN THE
FLEXIBLE METAL TUBING, LEAKS MAY OCCUR.
In case of Range Model with full oven control follow instructions
:
1. Apply pipe-joint compound made for use with LP gas to the smaller thread ends of the flexible connector adapters
(see B and F in the following illustration).
