- Do not use your microwave
oven to cook or reheat eggs
with or without their shells, as
they may explode even when
finished cooking.
- If products inside or outside of
the oven catch fire, or if you
see smoke, keep the oven
door closed and stop the
oven. Unplug the power cable
or cut the electrical supply at
the fuse or switch.
- Do not over-cook food. It is at
risk of catching fire.
- Keep the appliance clean but
do not attempt further main-
tenance. If the oven is not kept
clean, this could cause the
surfaces to deteriorate, affect
the appliance’s lifetime and
lead to dangerous situations.
- Never use steam cleaning
equipment.
- Never, under any circumstanc-
es, use abrasive products or
sharp metal scrapers to clean
the oven’s window pane, as
they may scratch the surface
and, over time, break the
glass.
- Never use chemical products
or corrosive vapours inside
the appliance. This type of
appliance is specifically de-
signed to heat or cook food. It
is not intended for industrial
use or in a laboratory.
- Do not remove any cover.
The condition of the water-
tight seals and the door frame
should be checked regularly. If
these areas are damaged, stop
using the appliance and have
it repaired by a specialist
technician.
- Maintenance must only be
performed by a specialist
technician. It is dangerous for
anyone other than an accred-
ited technician to perform
maintenance or repairs that
require the panel that pro-
vides protection against
microwave energy to be
removed.
