MONO CHANNELS WALK THROUGH
1. Balanced XLR connector for microphones.
2. Pad - reduces the input by 25dB. Use this when the input is
overloaded by high output sources.
3. Line input - ¼” balanced/unbalanced TRS input for line level
sources.
4. Insert point - ¼” TRS jack with tip input and ring output. Allows you
to place external signal processors such as compressors and gates
between the microphone preamp and the EQ stage.
5. HPF - 75Hz 24dB/oct high pass filter to remove unwanted low
frequency content.
6. Peak indicator - illuminates when the input signal is too high.
7. Gain control - allows you to match the input sensitivity of the
channel to your source. Line level inputs range from -13dB to +25dB.
Microphone inputs range from 12dB to 60dB.
8. EQ - High band gain - a shelving filter centered at 12kHz, +/-15dB
of gain.
9. EQ - Mid frequency - controls the centre frequency of the Mid band,
ranges from 300Hz to 6kHz.
10. EQ - Mid band gain - +/-15dB of gain for the mid band.
11. EQ - Low band gain - a shelving filter centered at 80Hz, +/-15dB
of gain.
12. Sub/Aux - sends signal to the Sub/Aux buss, a pre-fade send
13. Mon 1 - a post-fade auxiliary send for foldback/monitor mixes
14. Mon 2 - a post-fade auxiliary send for foldback/monitor mixes
15. FX 1 - sends signal to the internal FX 1 processor
16. FX 2 - sends signal to the internal FX 2 processor
17. Pan - allows spatial placement, with a centre detent for equal
balance between left and right.
18. Mute button - toggles the channel on or off. The status LED will
illuminate red when the channel is muted.
19. Channel fader - sets the level of signal that is sent to the groups
or master buss.
20. Channel metering - displays the signal level, avoid illuminating the
peak LED for extended periods!
21. Group 1/2 select button - when depressed sends signal to buss
1/2
22. Group 3/4 select button - when depressed sends signal to buss
3/4
23. Master buss select - when depressed sends signal directly to the
master buss
24. PFL - Pre Fader Listen, allows you to monitor the signal before the
fader stage and set the gain levels correctly. the green status LED will
illuminate when PFL is active.
