the cases in the magazine when the injector is fully

b) Set the collar on the mast (Dimension ‘B’) so that it is correct for the case to be run. See
Section 7.2:

minor jawplate when the air is

, then adjust the UP position of the forming head by
adjusting the ‘head up’ shock absorber. This completes the alignment. Injection height
should now be correct.
9.8 Maintenance Parts List
9.8.1 Wear Parts
Refer to the attached Supplementary Manual for the Recommended Spare Parts Kit.
9.9 Lubrication
The main components that require lubrication
are:

Chains and Sprockets

Sliding Components

Sealed Guide Wheels
9.9.1 Moving Components
All adjustment screws, chains and sprockets,
and other sliding components, should be
thoroughly cleaned and lightly greased weekly.
Use Keystone Pennwalt ‘Nevastane HT-2’
grease or equivalent.
9.9.2 Ball Bearings
All ball bearings used on WEXXAR packaging
machines are sealed-for-life, and regular
lubrication is not required.
9.9.3 Sealed Guide Wheels
The horizontal motion of the discharge pusher and the vertical motion of the jawplates on the
mast are guided by beveled-edge guide tracks fitted with grooved wheels. These guide wheels
need to be lubricated with Fuchs Geralyn FMG 387 grease approximately once per month. See
Figures 9-4 and 9-5.
