Do not
leave packaging materials in the range of
children. They may become dangerous toys for children.
Keep the LED lantern out of the reach of children. They
are no toys and not suitable for children under the age
of 8.
Protect the LED lantern from humidity and extreme
temperatures. Avoid strong mechanical stresses.
Do not stare directly into the LEDs and do not direct the
light beam towards people or animals.
Do not use devices which can strongly focus light for
viewing the light beam.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and
do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Always use batteries of the same type and dimensions.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
If a zinc-carbon battery or an alkaline battery has leaked
in the unit, carefully remove it from the battery com-
partment wearing gloves and remove residual liquid with
a moist cloth. If necessary clean the contacts on the
unit. Dispose of the battery according to the battery
disposal notice. The cloth used can be washed or dis-
posed of in the household garbage.
