Operation
Inserting/Replacing the Battery
1. Remove the battery compart-
ment cover at the rear of the
device.
2. Connect the electric contacts of
the battery-clip with a new bat-
tery of the type 6LR61. Insert
the battery into the battery
compartment (10) (fig. 1).
3. Close the battery compartment with the battery com-
partment cover.
Replace the battery when the light of the power indica-
tor LED (9) gets weaker when the device is switched on,
or if the buzzer (3) only plays quiet sounds.
Preparing the Hose
If the 10 m hose (6) is too short for your particular meas-
urement, you can extend the hose using further hose
pieces and connectors (not included) as needed.
Filling the Hose with Water
Fill the hose with an appropriate amount of water (fig. 2).
To ensure higher measurement accuracy, gently shake
the hose in order to remove any bubbles.
