Start-Up and Operation
To recall the value, press “RECALL”. The stored value can easily be
deleted by pressing “STORE” once more. The “M” in the display disappears
and the stored value is deleted.
4.2 Multiplication for Squares and Volumes
A) Squares
Measure the first distance, e.G. the length of a room. When the result is
displayed, press “X” and measure the width of the room. Press “=” to have
the measured square calculated in m

or ft

. In the upper part of the display
“sq m” or “sq ft” is displayed. “sq” stands for square.
B) Volumes
Measure the first distance, e.G. the length of a room. When the result is
displayed, press “X” and measure the width of the room. When the result is
displayed, press „X" again and measure the height of the room. Press „="
to have the volume of the room calculated in m

or ft

. In the upper part of
the display “cb m” or “cb ft” is displayed. “cb” stands for “Cubic”.
4.3 Measuring and Adding the Squares or Volumes of Two Rooms
If necessary, you can measure 2 or more rooms and add their squares or
volumes. This is done by using the interim memory “STORE”.
Measure the first distance, e.G. the length of the first room. When the result
is displayed, press “X” and measure the width of the room. Press “=” to
have the square of the room calculated.
Store this value in the memory by pressing „STORE”. This is confirmed by
“M” appearing in the upper left of the display.
Please Notice: If the “M” is already in the display, a value is already stored
in the memory. In this case you have to press “STORE” twice to delete the
old value and store the measured value. On the first pressing of the key the
“M” disappears and the momentarily stored value is deleted. On the second
pressing the “M” reappears and the displayed value is stored in the
memory.
Measure the first distance, e.G. the length of the second room. When the
result is displayed, press “X” and measure the width of the room. Press “=”
to have the square of the second room calculated.
Now press “+” and then “RECALL” to recall the stored value. After that,
press “=”. Now the combined square is displayed.
If you want to add other rooms, safe this value with “STORE”. Keep in mind
that you have to press “STORE” twice to store the displayed value. On the
first pressing of the key the “M” disappears and the momentarily stored
value (first room) is deleted. On the second pressing the “M” reappears and
