Using
Notes:
ƒ Charge the battery for approximately 6 hours before initial use.
ƒ The Walkie Talkie comes with an internal battery protection. However,
during long term storage it is recommended that you recharge the
battery every 6 months. Remove the battery before storage.
ƒ When the battery reaches a certain low level, the battery symbol (E)
will be displayed. Then the unit automatically changes into power
saving mode. The battery should be charged then.
ƒ Once the battery has been charged completely and the charger has
been disconnected, the battery symbol will remain at the display until
the unit has been switched on.
Menu Navigation
To access the advanced features of the Walkie Talkie, the device consists
of three menu modes:
ƒ Power Saving Mode: time display only
ƒ Operation Mode: The device will automatically switch to this mode
after the battery has been installed.
ƒ Set-up Mode
Using / Selecting the different modes
ƒ Switching On: In power saving mode press and hold the power button
(3) for more than 2 seconds. The system switches into operation
mode. The Walkie Talkie has been switched on. The time (C), the
volume (B) and the VOX status (I) are displayed.
ƒ Switching Off: In operation mode press and hold the power button (3)
for more than 2 seconds. The system switches into power saving
mode.
ƒ Set-up mode: In operation mode press the power button (3) once to
enter set-up mode. A short beep tone will confirm this action.
ƒ If you do not press any button in set-up mode for 10 seconds, the
system switches back to operation mode.
