Do not use the machine if the power switch does not function properly.

Do not let the machine work in Reverse rotation. Operating machine in Reverse rotation
can result in cable damage. The Reverse option is only used for retracting cable out of an
obstruction and should only be applied instantly on and then quickly off.

Do not force the cable into a pipe. Overstressing the cable because of an obstruction may
cause twisting, kinking, or breaking of the cable and may result in serious injury.
8.
Disconnect the plug from the power source first before cleaning the working area or
performing any maintenance work. This can prevent accidently starting the tool.
9.
Use the power tool, accessories, tool bits, etc., in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the
power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
Tool Use and Care Safety

Store idle tools out of reach of children and other untrained people. Tools are dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.

Maintain tools with care. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained tools
with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other
condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool serviced before
using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools.

Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model.
Accessories that may be suitable for one tool may become hazardous when used on
another tool.

Keep handles dry and clean, free from oil and grease.

Tool service must be performed only by qualified repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualified repair personnel could result in injury.
7.
When servicing a tool, use only identical replacement parts. Follow instructions in the
maintenance section of this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow
Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury.

Maintain and check the machine routinely. Make sure all electrical wires and parts are
working properly. Never use the machine when it is malfunctioning.
Specific Safety Information

Wear leather gloves that are provided with the machine.
2.
Be careful when cleaning drains where cleaning chemicals have been used. Avoid direct
contact with skin and eyes. Drain cleaning chemicals can cause serious burns as well as
damage to the cable.
3.
Do not operate the machine when standing in water. This will increase risk of electrical
shock.
4.
Wear safety glasses and rubber-soled, non-slip shoes. Use of this safety equipment may
prevent serious injury.
