Setting the time
1. Press the ‘Time’ button to select the time value
2. Press the ‘Increment/Decrement’ button to set the run time
The run time for operation can be set between one minute to 99 minutes with
incremental or decremental steps of one minute. The time can also be set for
continuous or infinite mode indicated by ‘][’ in the time display. The time values are
saved after blinking five times.
The countdown timer will be activated as soon as the operation begins. The time
setting cannot be modified when the unit is in operation.
Operating the Start/Stop button
1. Once the required speed and time values are set, press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to
start the operation. The speed will gradually increase from a lower RPM to the set
RPM and time value.
2. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button again to stop the ongoing operation. The speed will
gradually decrease from the set RPM to zero.
ATTENTION: The speed and time values cannot be changed or modified during operation.
Default pulse mode
The pulse mode is used for vigorous mixing of samples by rolling with a momentary
pause every 30 seconds. The default cycle time set for pulse mode is 30 seconds.
1. Press the ‘Start/Stop’ button again to stop the ongoing operation at any time.
The speed will gradually decrease from the set RPM to zero.
2. Set required speed and total run time before activating the pulse mode to guide the
device to start pulse mode operation for that particular speed and total run time.
3. Once the speed and total run time are set, press the ‘Pulse’ button to start pulse
mode operation for that particular speed and total run time.
4. In pulse mode, the pulse LED will glow indicating pulse mode opera¬tion is activated.
Example: Speed set to 50 RPM and total run time set to 2 min¬utes. Pulse mode
operation will have a speed of 50 RPM and total run time of 2 minutes. There will
be rolling for 30 seconds (cycle time) with momentary pause in-between and then
rolling for 30 seconds (cycle time) for a total of 2 minutes (total run-time).
5. Press the ‘Pulse’ button again to stop ongoing pulse mode operation. The user can
also press the ‘Start/Stop’ button to stop the ongoing pulse mode operation.
Programmable pulse mode
The user can also program the pulse mode and set it for alternating timers for
30 seconds to 90 seconds.
1. Set the required speed and total run time for operation
2. Hold down the ‘Pulse’ button to select the cycle time of rolling. The cycle time
value will appear on the right side of the display. ‘SEC’ will appear on the left side of
the display and the pulse LED will begin blinking indicating that the user can now
modify the cycle time.
