1. Product Description
1.1 Introduction
Westlab’s Demineralising System Ion Exchanger supplies high-quality demineralised
water that, used as rinsing water, prevents the formation of striations or stains on
washed instruments.
Tap water flows under its own pressure into the non-pressurised cartridge and is
subjected to the free flow ion exchange through a mixed bed of long-life anion and
cation resins.
1.2 Intended Use
The mixed bed ion exchanger is a water treatment system for the purification of
drinking water to deionized water, especially for use for feeding small autoclaves and
battery systems, and for use of simple chemical laboratory applications. Additional
uses include the supply of steam irons and aquariums.
The water produced is not fit for human consumption. This is not a medical device.
