Switch Position Mode Guide
Stand-By In Stand-By mode, the vortex mixer will
not operate in the touch or continuous
modes. It is recommended to use
the Stand-By mode when replacing
the attachments, when the mixer is
not in use or while setting operation
parameters.
Touch The Touch mode is usually used with
the standard attachment. In this mode,
the vortex action will begin only when
the cup attachment is pressed.
Continuous In Continuous mode, the vortex action
will start automatically at the set speed
and time values without needing the cup
attachment to be pressed. This mode is
generally used with attachments.
Touch mode operation
Prior to operation, check that the upper cup head is firmly tightened to the modified
shaft body. Set the required speed using the knob in Stand-By mode and then select
the Touch mode using the 3-way switch. Once selected, gently press and hold the
cup head using the tube for as long as required. Release your hold on the tube to halt
operation.
Note: The time value cannot be set in the Touch mode as it only operates when the cup
head is pressed.
