1. Before operating the chain saw
sharpener make sure that the
drill machine is not plugged in, in
order to avoid unintended start-
ing.
2. Place the chainsaw chain on the
chain holder assembly (J). Lift up
the adjustment wedge (G) and
unscrew the fastening screw (F).
Tighten the chainsaw chain with
the fastening screw between the
press boards (M).
3. Switch the drill machine on. For sharpening, press the handle (H) lightly
down. When sharpening, always wear protection goggles.
4. Rotate the chain holder assembly (J) only when the grinding disc is not
moving. Before forwarding the chainsaw chain to the next tooth, always
switch off the drill machine and wait until the grinding disc comes to a com-
plete stop.
5. Unscrew the angle adjustment
screw (L) on the bottom of the
base plate, in order to rotate
the chain holder assembly (J).
You can read the adjusted
angle on the angle indicator
(K). Tighten the angle adjust-
ment screw (L) hand tight so
that the angle cannot change
during working.
