sensor. Once an O2 sensor has been selected, you can choose the
desired sensor test in the next screen with UP and DOWN and confirm
your selection with ENTER. The results will be displayed together with a
fail or pass status. Press BACK to return to the diagnostic menu.
On-Board Monitor Test
This function can be utilised to display the results of on-board diagnostic
monitoring tests for specific components and systems.
Select “On-Board Monitoring” in the diagnostic menu and confirm your
selection with ENTER to display the list of monitors. Use LEFT and RIGHT
to switch display screens and use UP and DOWN to select an item. Press
ENTER to have the respective data and pass or fail status displayed.
EVAP System Test
The EVAP system test function displays information on the vehicle’s
evaporative system. This function is not supported by all manufacturers,
but if the vehicle supports the EVAP test function a leak test result will be
displayed if the function is selected and the selection is confirmed with
ENTER. Press BACK to return to the diagnostic menu.
Viewing VIN Number and Vehicle Information
Select “Vehicle Info” in the diagnostic menu and confirm your selection
with ENTER. The available information will be displayed; typically this is
the VIN (Vehicle Information Number), the CID (Calibration Information
Data), and the CVN (Calibration Verification Number).
Press BACK to return to the diagnostic Menu.
Review History
This function is used to review the recorded data streams, trouble codes
and freeze frame data.
Select “Review History” in the main menu and confirm your selection with
ENTER. In the following Menu the possible review and deletion options
are listed.
Select a review option and the recorded data will be displayed. To review
more detailed information, if available, select an item with UP and DOWN
and press ENTER. Use LEFT and RIGHT to switch between pages if
necessary. Confirm your selection with ENTER.
