Safety Notes
Please note the following advices to avoid malfunctions, damage and
injuries:
9 Always wear safety goggles. The lenses of your normal spectacles are only
impact resistant. They are NOT safety goggles.
9 Avoid unintended starting. Ensure that the switch is turned off before
connecting to the power supply.
9 This machine is not suitable for outdoor operation.
9 Do not touch the rotating grinding wheel.
9 Never use the universal grinder in an explosive or flammable environment.
Normal sparking of the motor can ignite flammable materials.
9 Damaged grinding wheels must be replaced immediately.
9 Adjust the distance between the grinding wheel and the knife rest of 2 mm.
9 The grinding wheel should rotate evenly. If there is shaking, the grinding
wheel should be replaced.
