Operation
5. Grasp handles with both hands. Carefully
align the cup over the drain opening. A
tight seal against drain opening is critical
for an effective operation. Push down
hard
on handles and hold firmly in place
for 5 seconds. The CO
2
cartridge is
activated and the pressure removes the
obstruction in the drain. Bursting of the
power disc will cause a popping sound.
6. After activating the CO
2
cartridge, slowly
lift cup from drain. Immediately flush drain
with running water to clear drain and to check for proper flow.
Notes:
For indoor drains use the drain opener with one CO
2
cartridge and with no or
one power disc.
For outdoor drains use the drain opener with one or two power discs.
Each operation of the drain opener uses the entire cartridge content. Remove
and dispose of used CO
2
cartridges and power discs after use.
Do not forget to uncover all previously closed overflow openings.
Cleaning and Storing
Clean the drain opener and the attachments with soapy water.
Wipe the surface with a moistened cloth. Do not use abrasives or chemicals
for cleaning.
Store the drain opener and the CO
2
cartridges out of reach of children
protected from dust and dirt.
