Operation
Connection
Plug the unit into an extension cord which is plugged into the power mains.
Make sure the power mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage
stated on the type label.
Use only suitable extension cords (for use outdoors these are extension cords
with a cable H07 RN-F; 3*1.5 mm

.) If in doubt, refer to a professional.
We recommend using a residual current circuit-breaker with a nominal residual
current of
≤ 30 mA, as available from Westfalia.
Please Notice: For safety reasons the length of the connecting tube between
the handle and the machine cannot be changed.
Operation
1. Place the blades on the ground where you intend to treat the soil
2. Hold the unit firmly and press the safety button (2) at the side of the
handle.
3. Press the ON/OFF switch (1).
4. The blades will now start to rotate and dig into the soil.
5. Slowly pull the unit through the ground in your direction and loosen the
ground in parallel strokes with the rotating blades. During operation be
extra careful not to injure your feet.
Cleaning and Maintenance
ƒ Before undertaking any work on the unit, pull the power plug.

Use a stiff brush and a moist cloth to clean the unit; do not use aggressive
chemicals or abrasives to clean the unit.
ƒ
Do not allow liquids of any kind to enter the unit.
