Before Operation
Mounting Place
ƒ The transmission range of the motion detector to a receiver is
approx. 70 m in free field without disturbances and direct
visual contact. Please keep in mind that the transmission
range will be reduced by obstacles such as walls made of
concrete or other radio controlled devices. Do not mount the
motion detector close to metallic objects.
ƒ Before firmly mounting the motion detector, make sure the
transmission signal can be emitted. If interferences occur or
there is no transmission, select another place for the receiver
or the transmitter.
ƒ To achieve greater protection, position the motion detector
that way, so the fan-shaped detection pattern can detect
movements from the side and not from the front.
ƒ
Mount the motion detector preferably 2 m from the ground on
the wall of the house. At his height and at this position the unit
will detect movement from 8 up to 12 m, depending on the
adjustment.
