Before first Use

Remove the pole saw and all accessories out of the packing and
check all parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials
out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!

Assembling the Guide Bar and the Saw Chain

Always wear gloves when handling the saw chain.
1. Place the pole saw on a level surface.
2. First remove the sprocket cover (5) by screwing the

inner

ring

of the chain tensioner (4a) counter clockwise.

3. Slide the saw chain (2) around the sprocket and into the slot

of the guide bar.

Observe the right chain running direction; note the chain icon on
the housing. Make sure to position the chain links correctly, so
the links match the chain icon.
