Assembly and Operating
Intended Use
The surfacing and thicknessing machine is designed for surfacing
and thicknessing of all types of whole pieces of square, rectangu-
lar or chamfered converted timber. The surfacing and thickness-
ing machine has been specially designed for planing solid wood.
The machine is to be used only for its prescribed purpose.
Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. Please note
that the machine is not designed for use in commercial, trade or
industrial applications.
Assembly
Unpack the surfacing and thicknessing machine and check for
any damage in transport.
The machine has to be set up securely.
Parallel Stop
1. Place the knife cover plate
from the rear side of the
machine on the feed table.
2. Secure the parallel stop to
the feed table using the
two Allen screws supplied.

Ensure that the holes in
the parallel stop and the
knife cover plate line up
with the internal threads in
the feed table.

To cut chamfered edges the parallel stop (2) can be tilted.
