Operation
Before Use
Remove all packaging from the unit and the accessories. Do not leave packaging
materials lying around; plastic bags may become a deadly toy for small children.
Clean all parts as described in the chapter “Cleaning”.
The blender is equipped with an automatic safety system that switches off the
motor when the jar has not been correctly assembled.
Attaching the Glass Jar
Make sure that the blender is switched off. The switch must be in the OFF
position. Place the glass jar on the motor unit and turn it to the right (clockwise if
viewed from above).
To remove the glass jar turn it to the left (counter clockwise if lifted from above)
and lift it off the motor unit.
Operation
Place the foodstuff you intend to process in the glass jar. Put the lid (2) on the
glass jar and close securely. If desired, remove the sealing cap (1) by turning
clockwise. To close the sealing cap, place it into the hole of the lid and close by
turning counter clockwise.
Connect the power plug to a wall outlet and switch on the motor base by using
either the rotary switch (6).

P For manually blending liquids. This provides a better control of
the mixing result. The rotary switch does not lock in the P posi-
tion, it must be held.
