Wear personally protective clothes as hearing
protection to protect from hearing loss caused by noise
exposure. Wear goggles to protect from eye injuries
caused by flying debris e.g. when removing brittle
material. Use a dust mask to protect from bore dust.
Wear protective gloves.
Use the auxiliary handle delivered with the machine. Loss of
control of the demolition hammer can cause injuries.
The demolition hammer has a hand arm vibration of

. To avoid injuries due to the hand arm vibration,
take sufficient rest breaks.
Make sure the tool to be used (pointed chisel or flat chisel) is
firmly locked in place before starting the machine. Do not
touch the tool immediately after operation. The tool may be
hot and could cause burns.
In cold weather or when the machine has not been used for a
longer period of time, first let it warm up for a while by operat-
ing it under no load in order to distribute the grease inside the
machine.
Hold the demolition hammer firmly with both hands.
Keep your hand away from moving parts.
Do not lay down the demolition hammer when it is still
working.
Do not point the demolition hammer at any person in the
areas when operating. The tool could fly out of the tool chuck
and could cause injuries.
Make sure that there are no active supply lines in the
brickwork or concrete (wall or ground) you want to work on.
