Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning or maintaining the grass and hedge shears remove the
battery and then the blades. Handle the blade with protective gloves.
After each use and before using for next time check the unit form obvious
defects such as loose, worn and damaged parts. Always check the firm fit
of all screws and the blade.
Use only a dry or lightly moistened cloth to clean the grass and hedge
shears. Do not use abrasive or aggressive chemicals as benzene or
thinner, which may dissolve plastic parts.
Always keep the ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions. If
necessary, clean the ventilation slots with a soft paint brush.
After cleaning and before each use, coat the blades with environmentally
compatible machine oil. Otherwise, the machine requires no maintenance
or lubrication.
Keep the battery slot of the grass and hedge shears always clean.
Transport and Storage
Make sure not to touch the safety switch and the ON/OFF switch while
carrying the grass and hedge shears.
Always slip over the protective cover over the blades while carrying or
when not in use.
Store the grass and hedge shears in a dry and frost and dust free location
together with the included accessory.
