Adjusting the Auxiliary Handle
Upon delivery, the auxiliary handle is folded
forward. Before use, adjust it according to
your requirements.
1. Turn the knob (C) on the lower end of the
hinge leftwards (A) to loosen the handle.
Now you can adjust it to the required
position. If you turn the knob rightwards
(B) you fix the handle at the desired
position.
2. If you want to mount the handle on the
right side of the unit, unscrew the knob
(C). To remove the fixing screw (D) pull
the screw out of the hand grip element
(E).
3. Remove the hand grip element (E) but
keep the chuck ring (G) and the two
plastic clamping pieces (F) on the ma-
chine.
4. Now turn the chuck ring (G) around the
neck of the machine over to the other
side of the machine.
If the two plastic clamping pieces (F)
fall down by mistake, please take care,
to mount these elements (F) in that way, that the lugs (H) are in
contact with the neck of the unit (see figure).
5. Push the hand grip element (E) over the plastic clamping pieces (F) and
fasten all by using the fixing screw (D).
6. Finally reattach the knob (C).
Inserting the Tools
The demolition hammer is equipped with a hex bit chuck (2). This type of tool
chuck allows a quick tool change without the need for a spanner.
