Operation
Using the cascade fountain in closed rooms
In case you want to use the solar cascade fountain in rooms with no direct
sunlight, we recommend operating the pump by means of a universal immersion
pump (Westfalia Art. No. 13 90 48). This pump can be powered by a regular wall
power supply (6 – 12 V
, 100 mA).
Troubleshooting
If no water is pumped after several sunny days with direct sunlight, please check
the following possible causes:

The pump is clogged,

The solar module is dirty.
Cleaning the Solar Module and the Bowls

Clean the solar module with a dry or lightly moistened cloth only. Treat the
solar module as glass product. Do not immerse the solar module in liquids.

Clean the bowls with water and if desired with less detergent.

In order not to damage the surfaces, do not use aggressive chemicals or
abrasives for cleaning all products.
Storing
During winter time remove the pump out of the water and store it at a warm place.
The solar module can remain outside.
The bowls are frost resistant, but we still recommend emptying the fountain during
winter time and storing it in a dry place without water.
