Safety Notes
ƒ Keep the sharpener out of reach of children.
ƒ The knife sharpener is intended for domestic use only.
ƒ
Only use the knife sharpener for sharpening knives with
straight edge blades. Do not sharpen knives with serrated
blades or scissors.
Using
1. Place the sharpener on a level, firm surface.
2. Always sharpen the knife with the coarse grinding stone
first and then hone the blade with the fine grinding stone.
3. Place the knife with the base of the handle first on the
sharpener and slowly pull the knife with gentle pressure
in direction to the knife point. Repeat this procedure for
3 – 4 times.
Never push the knife forwards but always from the back
of the knife to the knife point.
Honing the sharpened blade with the fine grinding stone
is very important in order to remove burrs after sharpen-
ing process.
