Operation
Before first Use
Remove the electric planer and all accessories out of the packaging and check all
parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
There is risk of suffocation!
Intended Use
The electric planer is intended for planning wood in the form of beams or boards
or the like if the workpiece is held securely in a vice or similar. Furthermore the
electric planer can be used for chamfering edges and for rebating. Other material
may not be processed with the electric planer.
Preparation
1. Use the rotary switch (2) to set the desired cutting depth of
the planer. The cutting depth can be set from 0 – 3 mm
according to the cutting depth scale (1). The depth scale
division is 0.25 mm
Turning the rotary switch will raise or lower the front plan-
ning sole (13) of the planer. Turn the rotary switch clock-
wise for lifting the front planing sole. This will increase the
cutting depth.
Turn the rotary switch counter
clockwise for lowering the front
planing sole. This will decrease the
cutting depth.
2. Insert the power plug into a suitable
wall socket.
3. For safety reasons the electric planer is
equipped with a safety lock-out (5) against
accidental activation. First press the safety
lock-out (5) inwards and hold it pressed.
Simultaneously press the ON/OFF switch (7).
Now release the safety lock-out. Please note
that the ON/OFF switch cannot be locked in
the ON position.
4. To turn off the machine, release the ON/OFF switch.
