Using
Adjusting the Darkening Filter
Choose from the shade guide table the required shade level and turn the
shade knob until the arrow points to the desired value.
Setting the Delay Time
With the delay time knob you can adjust in which time the
darkening filter automatically changes from dark back to
light after finishing welding.
To adjust the delay time, turn the knob to the desired
direction.
Setting Minimum: 1.0 seconds
Setting Maximum: 0.1 seconds
Setting the Light Sensitivity
To adjust the light sensitivity at the respective ambient
light, turn the knob to the desired direction.
First, turn the knob to the maximum setting and turn back
the knob to minimum setting until the darkening filter
becomes light again.
Setting Minimum: for WIG welding with low current
Setting Medium: suitable for most welding processes
Using
1. Check the darkening filter at bright light.
2. Turn the shade knob to the required shade level according to the welding
process you will use. (see shade guide table).
