Always keep the unit clean.
Make sure the ventilation louvers are clean and free from obstructions.
Clean the unit with a soft, possibly damp cloth.
Never immerse the machine into liquids of any kind. Do not allow liquids to
enter the unit.
In the impact drill mode, there will be continuous friction between the drill
chuck and the tool shank. It is advisable to grease the end of the tool
shank regularly with machine grease before inserting.
Please clean regularly the space (1) between
drill chuck and dust protection cap. Pull back the
plastic ring of the drill chuck and remove dust,
dirt and grease residue. Bring some grease to
the space between.
The dust protection cap (2) largely prevents the
entry of drilling dust into the tool holder during
operation. When inserting the tool, take care
that the dust protection cap is not damaged. If
the dust protection cap is damaged, please have
it carried out by the customer service.
Within the scope of supply you will find a pair of
carbon brushes. If necessary please have it
replaced by the customer service.
If any malfunction occurs on the machine, immediately stop all work with
the unit. Contact the Westfalia Customer Support or have the unit repaired
by a professional. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
