Operation
Before using for the first time
ƒ Familiarize yourself with the appliance before using for the first time.
Observe the safety instructions and use the appliance only according
to this manual. Keep the mill clean at all time at it comes into contact
with foodstuff.

Dispose of or store packaging material. Clean the appliance, as
described in chapter „Cleaning“ on page 7.
Inserting Batteries and Filling
1. To open the battery compartment lid, turn the lid clockwise.
2. Grasp the metal handle and pull the motor unit completely out of the
housing. Insert 6 fresh batteries of the type LR03 (AAA) into the
battery compartment. Observe the right polarity.
3. Fill the transparent container up to approx. 80 % with pepper or salt.
4. Insert the motor unit into the housing. Hold the motor unit by grasping
the metal handle and turn it lightly to the left or to the right until the
motor unit locks into the motor shaft and drops a little bit.
5. First place the battery compartment lid on the housing and turn it lightly
until the lid lowers. Tight the battery compartment lid by turning counter
clockwise.
Operating
1. Press the ON/OFF button once. While turning the pepper mill upside
down, the grinding unit start turning. If you place the pepper back on
the lid, the grinding unit stops turning.
