Cutting a Slot in a Mitred Edge
If you intend to cut a slot in a mitred
edge,
do not use the stop bracket (4).
1. Loosen the tilt adjustment knob (7)
and set the front plate to the angle
of the mitre.
2. Mark the slot and cut as described
above.
3. Make sure that the angles of the
cuts match on both pieces of stock.
Now you can turn on the biscuit jointer. For the second piece of stock act
in the same order.
4. Make sure the angle of the front plate remains unchanged.
