Padlock Symbol
Mounting the Hedge Trimmer
1. For locking the hedge trimmer attachment with the motor unit, attach the
hedge trimmer into the opening of the motor unit and turn both components
until they lock in place. Please note the triangular marking on the housing of
the hedge trimmer. When both components are correctly locked in place, the
triangular marking will point to the padlock symbol.
2. For removing the hedge trimmer attachment from the motor unit, first press
the releasing button (18) and turn the attachment slightly counter clockwise to
remove it.
3. For changing the angle position of the hedge
trimmer, depress the angle setting knobs (12)
and swivel the hedge trimmer to the desired
position.
Switching On the Hedge Trimmer
1. Insert the battery into the slot, if not already
done.
2. To turn the hedge trimmer on, first press the
safety switch (5) inwards and then depress the main switch (4). Now release
the safety switch.
3. To turn off the hedge trimmer, release the main switch. Please note that the
blade bar will run for some seconds after switching off the unit. First wait for
the blade bar to come to a standstill and then place the unit down.
