EXTERNAL PROTECTIONS
AC side protections
Leonardo PRO X 3000/48 Li
is equipped with an EPS alternating current output and an AC-IN alternating current
input / output line.
Since the device is equipped with a ground connection for NEUTRAL conductor - TT system, the AC-OUT alternating
current output line can be protected with an
AC-type magnetothermic-differential switch OUTPUT , with rated
current In = 32A and differential current Id = 0.03A (this circuit-breaker is usually already present in the home's
distribution panel as protection against indirect contacts, with 30mA differential current).
The AC-IN alternating current input line can be protected with an
INPUT-type magneto-thermal-differential switch ,
with rated current In = 32A and differential current Id = 0.3A, this switch can be inserted in an additional general
panel or , if possible, in the existing distribution panel in the home.
In the case of CONNECTION DIAGRAMS 3 and 5 it is advisable to provide
a three-position diverter I-0-II , which in the
event of a system malfunction can directly connect AC-OUT and AC-IN and perform the system BY-PASS.
Direct current side protections
The connection of the battery bank is made through the power connection cable and the CAN communication cable
(included).
It is also necessary to set the switches on the panel shown in
Pic. 6 :

Inverter switch
Leonardo PRO X 3000-48 Li system does not have an inverter disconnection switch. To ensure that the inverter is
switched on in complete safety, it is necessary to connect the battery before operating the inverter switch (
Pic. 8
).
The LG CHEM battery has an automatic disconnection and protection switch.
The inverter is turned on with the switch in position (I) while it is turned off if the switch is in position (O)
On the other hand, the switch must not be turned to position (II) for any reason.
