6 System Operation

6.1

Operating the Program

Access the PS71090E Public Safety Signal Booster using the provided

PS71090E PS-SMR 700/800

software through a LAN connection. The Signal Booster ships with the IP address

192.168.1.150

on

the

GUI

port.

To connect directly to the Signal Booster from a laptop or PC with a crossover CAT-5E cable or over a

LAN, change the TCP/IP settings on your computer to enable a connection to a host that has a static

IP.

Open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network Connections Choose

appropriate Local area connection:
