Assembly requires two people.

Place all parts in a cleared area and remove the packing materials; do not

dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.

The following tools (not included) are required for assembly: two (2) adjustable wrenches
and a phillips screwdriver                         .

Assembly will be more convenient if you have the following tools:

A socket set, a set of open-end or closed-end wrenches, or a set of ratchet wrenches.

1. Note that the Right Handrail and the Console Base

(not shown) are connected to the treadmill by a Wire
Harness.

During assembly steps 1 through 3, be

careful not to pull on or damage the Wire Harness.

With the help of a second person, carefully lay the
treadmill on its side. Position one of the Base Legs
(38) on the base of the Upright (31) as shown. Make
sure that the Base Leg Pads (41) and the Front
Wheel (39) are in the indicated positions. Attach the
Base Leg with two 3/8Ó x 2Ó Bolts (43), two 3/8Ó
Washers (35) and two 3/8Ó Nuts (34).

Carefully turn the treadmill onto its other side.
Assemble the other Base Leg (38) as described.

With the help of a second person, carefully raise the
treadmill to the upright position so that both Base
Legs (38) are resting flat on the floor.

2. Refer to HOW TO LOWER THE TREADMILL FOR

USE on page 11. Follow step 2 on page 11 to lower
the treadmill.

Cut the plastic ties that hold the cage nuts in each
Handrail (30, 32).

Position the Left Handrail (30) on the left Upright (31)
as shown. Thread a 1/4Ó x 1Ó Bolt (23) into the lower
end of the Left Handrail. Thread a 1/4Ó x 1Ó Bolt (23)
with a 1/4Ó Washer (51) into the upper end of left
Upright and the Left Handrail.

Do not tighten the

Bolts yet.

While a second person holds the Console Base (12)
and the Right Handrail (32) near the right Upright
(31), feed the excess Wire Harness (28) into the
upper end of the Right Handrail, and pull it out of
the bottom of the right Upright (31) (see drawing 5).

Attach the Right Handrail (32) in the same way as
the Left Handrail (30).

Do not tighten the Bolts yet.

Be careful not to pinch the Wire Harness (28).
