Filter change
An alarm sounds and the red warning light
flashes:
Recommended service life of filter has expired.
Indicates that the filter needs changing. Reset the
alarm with the reset function on the control panel
and schedule a filter change.
An alarm sounds and the red warning light is
lit continuously:
Extraction capacity is too low.
Switch off the filter unit. Check the nozzles and
tubes, and clean them if necessary. If the alarm
sounds again the next time the unit is turned on,
the filter must be changed.
If no action is taken, the filter unit will cut out after
five minutes in order to avoid overheating.
When changing the main filter the filtration time
can be reset as follows:
Keep the reset button pressed and, at the same
time, turn on the switch until a signal sounds.

Cleaning
To ensure that the unit functions properly, the nozzle, extractor arm and connecting hose must be clea-
ned on a regular basis.

The normal service life of a main
filter in the electronics industry is
1500 hours.
The main filter should be chan-
ged at least once a year in order
to ensure proper gas separation.
