Welding Guide
The WT180MP does not require any special
maintenance, however the user should take care
of the machine as follows:
• Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
• Keep the casing clean.
• Check all cables before use.
• Check electrode holders, work lead/clamps and
welding torches before use.
• Replace worn electrode holders and earth
clamps, which do not provide a good connection.
• Replace worn torch consumable parts in a timely
manner.
• Replace worn wire drive components in a timely
manner.
• Use a soft cloth or brush to clean electrical
components. Do not use liquid cleaning
products, water or especially solvents.
• Do not use compressed air to clean electrical
components as this can force dirt and dust
further into components, causing electrical short
circuits.
• Check for damaged parts.
