5.2 Cleaning and replacing the
graphite anode
1. Disconnect handle holding anode from
workpiece cable.
2. Unscrew the graphite anode from the handle.
3. Push the graphite anode together with the felt side
ways out of the the holder.
4. Clean the felt thoroughly under running water.
5. Replace a dark felt with a new one.
6. Wipe over the handle and the graphite anode with a
damp cloth.
7. Wrap the cleaned or new felt around the graphite
anode.
8. Slide both back sideways into the drawing holder.
9. Screw the graphite anode back onto the handle.

6. Transport and storage
The unit is supplied as a set together with the
accessories in a transport case (see Scope of delivery).
The transport box is stretched on a pallet straps on a
pallet and wrapped in foil. wrapped in film. The packing
note is in a shipping bag on the film.
Transport inspection
Check the delivery for transport damage and complete-
ness. In the event of visible transport damage, proceed
as follows:
- Do not accept the delivery or accept it only
under reservation.
- Determine the extent of the damage.
- Report any damage to the product, the carrier or the
supplier.
Storage
Store the device and accessories safely, carefully and
inaccessibly. The following measures must be observed:
- Protect from moisture, dust and intense heat.
- Protect from direct sunlight, do not store outdoors.
- Protection against falling.
Notes for returns
Discuss the return shipment with the dealer or manu-
facturer.
