Specifications
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery.
- Do not short the positive and negative battery terminals with
a metal object such as a necklace or keys.
- Do not expose the battery to heat or flame.
- Do not allow the battery or its terminals to come in contact
with water.
- Do not place or charge the battery in the hot places such as a
fire side, a stove side, under the burning sun, etc. Doing so
could cause the battery to leak fluid, overheat, explode, or
cause other damage to the battery.
- Store the battery away from children to avoid accidents.
- Avoid dropping the battery or letting it undergo any shock or
impact.
- Only use with the specified equipment.
- Only use the specified charger for charging the battery.
- If battery fluid gets on your skin, or clothes, wash it off with
clean water.
- If battery fluid gets in your eyes, wash it out with clean
water and contact a physician immediately. If it is left, there
is fear of loss of eyesight.
The battery's life is limited.
Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries will gradually deteriorate
during the repeated cycles of charging and discharging due to
its properties, even under normal use. If the battery pack is
fully charged but soon runs out(during use in regular
temperatures), replace the battery pack with a new one.
- Make sure to turn the terminal power off before removing or
replacing the battery. If you remove the battery pack while
the terminal power is on, the information data or program
could be broken.
- Do not touch the battery terminals by hand or stain those
terminals. Doing so could result in a charging failure or
contact failure.
- Should the battery terminals become dirty, wipe them off
with a clean, dry cloth before use.
- If the equipment is left for a long period, with the battery
attached, minute amounts of current flow even when
unused, and the battery may become excessively drained
and no longer function.
- If the battery will not be used for a long period(1 month or
more), remove the battery from the equipment and store in a
cool place.
- The hand-held terminal CTR series has an integrated backup
power source which backs up the memory and calendar
clock. The backup power source is automatically charged by
the battery pack. If you leave the hand-held terminal with no
battery pack loaded for a long time, the memory contents
will be lost.
