Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Product cannot be
powered on.
Batteries have run out of
power.
Replace the batteries.
Batteries may be installed
incorrectly.
Please insert the batteries with the
polarities in the correct direction
as per the markings in the battery
compartment.
Power Button is
flashing.
Low battery indicator.
Replace the batteries.
The unit automatically
turns off.
There may be insufficient
power left in the batteries.
Replace the batteries.
Heartbeat will not
record.
Finger is not inserted
correctly into the sensor.
Retry by inserting the finger according
to the instructions on page 9.
Finger or body is moving.
Keep still while heartbeat recording is
being obtained.
The fingernail may be dirty
or covered with nail polish
or false nails.
Remove any dirt, nail polish or false
nails from the fingernail.
