D) Minimum Air Requirements - In order for the impact wrenches and the TRB to function as intended,
minimum air requirements must be met. SPM
®
recommends 45 SCFM per impact wrench, with an air pressure
(measured at the impact wrench) of 90 psi. Failure to supply these minimum requirements will not allow the
wrench to achieve the rated bolt torque, and will increase assembly time do to starvation. In order to minimize
pressure drop from the compressor, it is recommended that the minimum hose size be observed.
