Connecting serial port 

 

9.3.1.

 

Configuring serial ports for Pan/Tilt/Zoom 

The  MD1600L  have  most  major  PTZ  protocols  already  pre-programmed.  Makes  and  models  not 

supported can still be controlled using the Transparent Protocol. For a list of supported protocols, refer to 

the list on the OSD Configuration menu. 

The following  figure shows  how to connect PTZ camera to RS485 (COM2). When using another serial 

port, connect it with referring to each connection diagram below. 

Please refer to the 

“<ote> Wire Handling”
