2.5.9 Other: SNMP
The MTX-StarEnergy-M device allows to execute SET and GET operations through SNMP protocol from
standard SNMP applications.
• Enabled
: select if you want to enable the SNMP service of the MTX-StarEnergy-M
• SNMP Version
: can be selected between SNMPv2c and SNMP v3
• UDP port
: the standard UDP port for SNMP is 161, but you can specify the one that suits you
best
• Custom OID
: allows you to change the Enterprise-Product OID from the default value (.45711.1.1)
in case you want to adjust it to your corporate values
• Community
: the password to be able to execute SET and GET commands. Only necessary for
SNMPv2
• Username
: username in the case of using SNMPv3 (not necessary for SNMPv2)
• Auth Password
: authentication password for SNMPv3 (not necessary for SNMPV2)
